We stayed with a group of friends to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary 🥂 Although we arrived early we were well looked after by Gavin 🍻 Later on Maria arrived to serve us and Glender cooked the most delicious food 🥰
We had the Morrocan suite and it was spotless, it even came with a complimentary bottle of fizz 🍾
This hotel should be rated higher than a 1⭐
We will definately be back and hopefully do a hike with Gavin and Glenda in the beautiful surrounding countryside 🌳

New owners fabulous fresh cooked local produce plus fish and shellfish, meats, steaks etc. Great service. Stay overnight fir fine olde worlde experience.

Great lunch today organised for us before our quad biking experience. Very friendly staff and a lovely relaxing hotel. |Extra bonus for my daughter seeing the hotel cats who were very happy to get a cuddle. |Will definitely try and visit again

Located on the route across the Espuna mountains, with spectacular views across the open countryside, the Hotel La Mariposa provided us with a warm welcome, comfortable accommodation and delicious food throughout our short stay. Whilst there are outdoor activities available in close proximity for those seeking adventure, Hotel La Mariposa is the perfect location for those who simply wish to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings or to lounge around the pool.
Rooms are spacious, clean and themed individually to a standard that exceeds the 1-star official rating. The menu provides for different tastes and the food is freshly prepared to an excellent standard.
Staff were very welcoming and friendly, ensuring that we were well catered for throughout our stay.
Overall, a very good experience and we certainly intend to return in the future.

We’ve just returned from a two night stay at La Mariposa! The most beautiful, peaceful, relaxed setting. Our room (Africa) was spacious and spotlessly clean with aircon, fan and fridge! Our hosts Gavin, Glenda and Maria were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent! I’m sure we will be back!

Very nice boutique style hotel with 9 individual rooms. Dog friendly. The owners and staff were very friendly and looked after us well, making us feel very welcome, in a relaxed atmosphere. Food was great and catered to Spanish and English tastes at a reasonable price. Set in the beautiful Sierra Espuña, plenty to do, hikes, bike rides, places to visit.
